** IMPORTANT PRACTICE UPDATE**

Following the latest scottish government update from the chief dental officer, we at dental inspirations would like to take this opportunity to inform you of our UPDATED current operating status.

New guidelines have been set from 18/3/2020 meaning we can no longer provide the following services until further notice:

Any dental equipment that uses water and creates a spray have been banned unless in the case of severe dental emergency. This means we cannot carry out routine dental fillings, crown prep, root treatments or the use of the airflow stain removal equipment.

Scaling and polishing will be carried out using hand instruments ONLY.

The dentist can stil carry out routine examinations and X-rays, dental impressions and simple extractions.

Patients in vulnerable grouping (i.e. those over 70 years old or those with conditions such as asthma, chronic lung disease or that usually require the yearly flu jab) should not attend for routine appointments unless in the case of an emergency.

The situation is likely to change over the coming days, weeks or months, we will inform you as soon as we find out any new information.
