Dr Chris Pumford - Principal Dentist

Dr Chris graduated from Glasgow University in 1995 and has worked in Aberdeen for many years before opening up his own practice - Dental Inspirations in 2011.
Since graduating he has furthered his knowledge of dentistry;
Chris has been placing dental Implants since completing his training in London in 2008 and has attended many International Implant conferences throughout the world to keep up to date with the latest techniques and standards.
He also works with orthodonitc systems - Fastbraces & Six Month Smiles undergoing extensive training for both brace systems in Dallas and Boston. Testament to this is that he is now the No 1 provider in Scotland for Fastbraces, becoming a Master affiliate and he is a 5 Star rated Six Month Smiles provider.
As well as Orthodonitcs and Implants, Chris has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry completing Smile make-overs, transforming patients mouths and their confidence.
Chris is not just a cosmetic dentist, he is a fantastic family dentist, who has maintained a loyal patient base over many years.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys sport - football, rugby and golf in particular - and long walks with his dog Ssal.
Leianna Minty - Practice Manager

Leianna joined the practice in May 2011 and became the Practice Manager in April 2015.
As well as being the Practice Manager, Leianna still retains her Dental Nurse status and is the practice Childsmile Nurse. She is able to apply fluoride to childrens teeth and discuss their oral health needs under referral from the dentists.
Leianna is the practice point of contact for any patient queries regarding your treatment and care provided by the practice.
Leianna loves to bake and cook and always likes to try new recipes, however most of her free time now is spent with her son, since becoming a mum in 2013.
Dr Russell MacPhee

Russell rejoined Dental Inspirations in September 2017 after a brief break. He is the owner and prinicpal dentist of Skene Dental Practice in the city centre, however works at Dental Inspirations as an associate.
Russell graduated from Glasgow University in 2006 and has been working in and around Aberdeen for the last 10 years.
Russell has many years experience and has recently furthered his knowledge and skills by completing his Dental Implant training at the Scottish Centre of Excellence in Dentistry (Glasgow). He is also qualified in the cosmetic braces system Fastbraces. Most recently he has completed a year long course in cosmetic dentistry at the Chris Orr Advanced Dental Seminars in London. Russell has a keen interest in all aspects of dentisty and will continue to develop and knowledge and skills in this ever changing industry. In joining Dental Inspirations he also assuming the role of Mercury Free dentist. His caring and nurturing persona is proving to be popular with patients old and new.
In his spare time Russell enjoys all sport - he is very athletic.
Trish Maitland - Hygienist

Trish Maitland - Our Hygienist (or 'hygenius' as some of our patients will call her) followed Chris from his previous practice to join Dental Inspirations in 2011.
She is a hugely popular Hygienist and has a busy diary of patients which is testiment to her great work.
As well as working with Dental Inspirations she also works for the Health Board and has a keen interest in working with patients with disabilities and special needs.
In her limited free time, Trish loves to spend time with her husband and 2 sons, loves to bake and creates beautiful craft apple heads of which she sells to raise money and awareness for a cause close to her heart - Cystic Fibrosis.
Kerry Shearer - Dental Nurse

Kerry joined the practice in July 2012 after relocating to Aberdeen from Dundee.
Since joining the practice, Kerry has completed the Cleanliness Champion course ensuring the practice maintains our very high standards. Kerry qualified in 2006, meaning she has a lot of wealth of knowledge and experience which she has been able to share with our trainees and other nurses.
In 2015 Kerry furthered her qualifications and is now able to take dental impressions.
In her spare time Kerry is very artistic and creative, spending weekends taking photographs in and around Aberdeen as well and creating some lovely keepsake gifts for friends and family.
Ami Jamieson - Dental Nurse

Ami joined the practice in March 2016, moving to Aberdeen from Fife. She qualified in February 2016 and quickly cemented her position as Dental Nurse since joing the team. Ami also works reception on the days Leianna isn't in, and has very quickly become someone patients and staff rely on when they have clerical needs.
Ami has a nurturing and caring approach when it comes to dental nursing and is very good with nervous patients. Since joining Dental Inspirations, Ami has furthered on her qualifications by successfully completing the impression taking course and the Childsmile training programme.
Ami like most of team DI is a keen baker and used to have her own cupcake business before discovering her passion for Dental Nursing. Other hobbies include badminton, general fitness and socialising with friends - but most importantly Wedding Planning since getting engaged in August 2018.
Jill Ross - Dental Nurse

Jill joined Team DI in June 2018 having completed her dental nurse contract with the NHS. Recently qualified and keen to get stuck into the world of dentistry, Jill has been a welcome addition to our team.
Carrying a vast knowledge of all procedures carried out at the dental hospital, Jill joins us feeling experienced and able and has had a seamless start to joining the team.
Like Ami, Jill also covers the reception 1 day a week. She'll be the first to admit she likes to yap and you cannot miss 'That Laugh'. Anyone who has already encountered Jill has agreed that she exactly the warm, bubbly type that slots into our team just perfectly.
Jill currently works part-time hours to fit around 'mum-life' and you will see her in the practice Wednesday- Friday. The rest of her time is spent at home with daughter Lucy.
